Global Homestay The program rediscovering the true meaning of family and love, [Global Homestay: The
Way Home] In modern society, speed and a competitive edge are the name of the game.
The Way Home Environmental pollution is not the only harmful effects from civilization. People are so busy
that they do not have enough time to cherish their families. A record-high divorce rate, rising
spousal abuse and other societal ills that have been brought on by urbanization... The aim of the
75mins [Global Homestay: The Way Home] show is to illuminate these issues by transplanting a typical
Korean family and native tribal family in the Amazon. Yamulu’s family was documented in [Tears
of the Amazon], an MBC documentary. They family arrive in Korea! Tears of the Amazon (2010)
is a world-acclaimed documentary and the story of Yamulu and her family was featured in it.
Yamulu’s family spends time at the house of Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra, who are a Korean
celebrity couple. Six family members from an Amazon tribe adapt to life in the big city. Waura
Tribe live in a remote place in the Amazon. It takes four days to get there from South Korea!
What kind of experiences dose the celebrity couple, Choi Soo-jong and Ha Heera, have there?
Choi is known for playing charismatic kings in Korean history but he turns out to be wimpy in
real life. Forget whatever notion you had about Choi Soo-jong! His experience in the Amazon
