Paintings
Like Jean Jullien’s drawings and sketches, many of his paintings are also inspired by everyday life.
Among them, nature, family and the sea are often used as a main motif. While the artist’s illustration
style is humorous and satirical, his paintings tend towards the contemplative and tranquil. In contrast
with a vast ocean view, human figures are expressed in a tiny and blurred form. In this way, his paintings
make viewers focus on nature’s creations such as the music of waves and the motion of trees.
