속담을 이불에 새겨 꿈길을 함께 걷다

27년째 프랑스 파리에 거주하며 활발한 작품 활동을 하고 있는 작가. 그는 특유의 해학적 시선으로,
“기하학적 패턴과 색의 힘을 통해 인간과 사물의 관계를 원초적으로 되돌려놓는다.”는 평가를 듣고 있다.
그런 그가 전통 공예와 언어 체계의 접목에 주목하는 이유를 들어봤다.
